On the topic of enviable locations for an apartment: I'm currently staying with friends in London, and this is their front door. Yep, that's right. That blue one in the middle. A two-story flat directly above one of the world's greatest sources of artisanal cheese. Not to mention that it lies practically inside the fabulous Borough Market....

Wow. I very often get cheese cravings, perhaps on a daily basis even. I am not sure living on top of a cheese source like Neal's Yard is a good or bad thing :-)
-cheers
Reminds me of Irving Berlin’s
appetite-sharpening lyric
(approximately) rendered by
Ol’ Blue Eyes:
“Blue cheese
smilin’ at me
nothin’ but blue cheese
do I see.
“Blue cheese
singin’ a song
nothin’ but blue cheese
all day long.”
--- Howard G. Goldberg
Arg, I was there last week. The place is just amazing.
Did you check out the cheese sarnie's in the vending area? oh my.
Oh, that is so too much.
I made the pilgrimage ahead of a meeting nearby just a couple of months ago, but I was intimidated by the huge wheels of Stilton.

The only person I know with a flat in Borough Market is Francis Percival...
Borough Market is great fun. I cycle there almost every Saturday to buy a few bits and pieces for the week ahead.
Hope you're well.
